Srishtii Art Gallery Hosts Art Exhibition ‘Diwali-the Festival of Lights’

On the Ocassion of ‘Diwali-the festival of lights’ an exhibition was inaugurated on 28th October at Srishtii Art Gallery in presence of famous filmmaker director Narayan Roy (known for Golmal, Swapne Dekha Rajkanya, Santras movies). Speed painter Rabin bar, Art Collector Rajendra Nahata, Imran Zaki, Hony. Secretary,
St. Stephen’s School; Madhu Agrawal, Painter & Owner of Srishtii Art Gallery and many eminent artists and art-lovers.

The exhibition will continue till 6th of November showcasing works of eminent artists like
Sadhan Sengupta- (Nature and Beauty), Saikat Patra( Sindoor Khela and Durga ji), ACP Basudeb Bhattacharya (Nature), Madhu Agarwal (Madhulika)-Tanjore Art, Kaushik Ghosh (Old Kolkata), Vidya Mall (Pen Doodling), MC Ashok Harlalka (Wildlife), 14 years old artist Master Antareep Sinha (Buddha and Nature), Sunaina Kasera (Old Man in Waiting), Artist from shantiniketan Arabinda Pal (Pottery), Artist from shantiniketan Debabrata Ruidas (Sculptures from iron and electrical waste) and Radhika De.

According to Madhu Agarwal, Owner, Srishtii Art Gallery, this special place was created for artists. Sometimes, it’s hard for artists to find somewhere to display their art” so she made this gallery. And here’s the cool part, gallery is covering all the costs of the exhibition. There are almost 70 paitings on display at the gallery .

Director Narayan Roy said, he is a film director that is why he is very attached to art. Good paintings gives him solace to his soul.
Speed painter Rabin bar said, the paitings in gallery on display are excellent. He also made his signature art on paper for madhu agarwal and few more. Sir Imran Zaki ji was also impressed by the work of artist and impressed by the gallery.
ACP Basudeb Bhattacharya whose paintings on display at Srishtii Art Gallery and other renowned persons like Ram da and Rajendra Nahata who are all art lovers were very happy with the range of paintings on display.

The main attraction of the show was Artist Sadhan Sengupta and Saikat Patra whose work speaks for itself. Their paintings are like music to one’s heart.

The exhibition will continue till 6th November from 1pm to 6 pm including Sunday at 4, Mysore road, Opposite to Lake Mall Kolkata.

Each artist have put their heart and soul into their work, giving a fresh take on the Festival of Lights.
