SPK Jain Futuristic Academy (JFA), an International K-12 school in New Town Kolkata, celebrated the enduring legacy of Dr. Maria Montessori on her birthday on 31st August with a special event that brought together visionary educators, preschool innovators, and practitioners in an enlightening gathering. The School offers IGCSE & ICSE curricular to students. JFA is a unit of Shri S. S. Jain Sabha, an organization dedicated to education and service since 1928.
The event was organised at the school premises in New Town, Kolkata It was a tribute to the transformative influence of Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and teaching methods. Montessori learning is an educational approach developed by Maria Montessori that focuses on fostering a child’s natural curiosity, independence, and self-directed learning.
