Kolkata, May 31: Prof. Suranjan Das, Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University signs out today from Jadavpur to sign in same position at Adamas University tomorrow. This was declared today at a media roundtable organized by Adamas University in a city hotel. This roundtable was scheduled to introduce the intellectual capital of this premier private university where Prof Samit Ray, Chancellor of Adamas University, made this surprise announcement.
In the media roundtable, intellectual capital of the institution was introduced, that plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of thousands of students, empowering them to excel in their chosen fields and make meaningful contributions to society.
Adamas University has a diverse faculty hailing from 20 different states, with 14 members possessing international experience from various firms and institutes in foreign countries.
The university’s commitment to innovation and research is evident from their quality publications and patents. Adamas also has established 9 specialized research centres.
The University also excels in sports. On its third year of participation in KHELO INDIA, Adamas University secured the 18th rank with 93 participants, highlighting their growing presence in the sports arena.
In a bid to expand its global footprint, Adamas University plans to open international offices in the UK, US, Australia, and Dubai, offering students international internship opportunities.
