A book titled as ‘Income Tax Pleading & Practice’, written by Narayan Jain and Dilip Loyalka, was released on 27 April at Aaykar Bhawan, Kolkata.
“Income Tax department has introduced facility of E verification and taken other initiatives to help taxpayers in making easy compliance in filing as well as in assessments”, said Smt. Smita Srivastava, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim while releasing the book ‘Income Tax Pleading & Practice’. Smt. Srivastava also lauded the authors for writting the book.
Speaking on the occasion Narayan Jain said that each chapter of the book contains the provisions of Income Tax in which department may issue notice to seek clarification, relevant CBDT Circulars and decisions. Dilip Loyalka, co-author said that specimen replies inserted in each chapter will be helpful in proper compliance. On this occasion Chief Commissioners Mr. Abhay Damle, Naveen Chandra, Sandeep Chauhan, PN Devadasan as also other Commissioners of Income Tax. Many dignitaries and tax advocates and Chartered accountants actively participated and appreciated the efforts of authors. Co-authors Deepak Jain and Shreya Loyalka thanked all.
